Reporting to the General Manager Housing Trust, Strategic Advisor will provide strategic and intellectual support to drive the achievement of Emerge Aotearoa Housing Trust priorities. This senior leadership role involves collaborating closely with the National Tenancy and Property Managers to enhance housing services and facilitate access to sustainable housing for those in need. The Strategic Advisor will bring a strong analytical approach to research and data collection, addressing issues, risks, and opportunities with insight and sensitivity to the housing sector.

You will be motivated to make a meaningful impact on the people we support and their whanau, and you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experienceFull clean NZ driver's licenseMinimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in a strategic advisory role, preferably in the non-profit sector, with a focus on housingKnowledge of contemporary issues in social service deliveryAbility to lead and implement service transformationProven ability to establish strong networks with stakeholders in the mental health, disability, and housing sectorsStrong interpersonal and networking skillsAbility to influence effectivelyExperience developing and implementing strategy and business plansStrong analytical skills and capability in research, data analysis, and evaluation methodologiesAbility to deal with complex and emerging issuesExcellent English language written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate PC skills with Microsoft Office applicationsJoin an innovative team led by a passionate General Manager, with plenty of opportunities for development and learning.
