The company has been operating for over 160 years and this wealth of experience is important to the continued success of the organisation. About the opportunity:We are currently looking for a friendly and hardworking Storeperson to be based at our Mt Maunganui site for immediate start to work in our warehouse operation.  Ideally, we are looking for candidates with previous storeperson experience, however, full training will be given with strong emphasis on workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice.About the role:You will be responsible for ensuring all daily orders are picked and dispatched on time, and to perform all other warehouse stock movements. This includes loading and unloading trucks and containers. The preferred candidates will have:Good verbal and written communication skills.Previous store person, forklift (Crown & OSH certified also accepted) and reach truck experience is highly advantageous!Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365) and MS Excel desirable. Ability to learn and follow documented systems and processes.Commitment to ensuring the safety of self and others. Ability to work on rotational shifts as required.The flexibility to work overtime as required.Enthusiasm and enjoyment of working to tight schedules within a team environment.You will need to have your own transport to enter the Port of Tauranga The perks:Free medical insurance through Southern Cross Free productEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLearning and developmentStaff discount cardThose shortlisted for an interview may be required to carry out a pre-employment medical which would include drug and alcohol testing.
