Auckland City, AucklandExciting opportunity to manage the Arrivals Duty Free Store for global leader in travel retail.We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to take ownership of our Arrivals Store in Auckland Airport on a fixed-term basis for a parental leave cover. You will be responsible for managing all the aspects of our Arrivals Duty Free store at Auckland Airport. You will be strategically minded, lead by example and understand that each day is unique & will often mean wearing many ‘hats’ to ensure our brand is well presented and our customers’ desires are fulfilled.We’re looking for a hands-on leader who will:Demonstrate solid retail operational experience and people management skillsBring a strong analytical and entrepreneurial approach to the businessBe a strong communicatorProvide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandisingBe a true brand ambassadorWe seek a motivated individual who supports our customer-centric values, where the full energy and activity of the store team is focused on delivering a highly satisfying world class customer experience.To operate at optimum level and ensure the stores’ financial success you will have at least 5 years retail management experience, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to motivate a team of sales professionals to drive sales. In addition, you will have visual merchandising experience and be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word & Outlook.
