Store Assistant

Responsibilities include fulfilling assigned tasks from management, working independently with minimal supervision, and providing excellent customer service to a diverse clientele. Prospective employees will undergo drug testing prior to employment and must pass a police check, as they will be handling cash registers and managing stock. Please note previous experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate. Job descriptionAssessing customer needs and providing guidance on product selection, pricing, delivery, warranties, and product maintenance         Organizing and labeling merchandise on display shelves using the FIFO (first in, first out) method.           Receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming shipments from suppliers and vendors while reporting any discrepancies.          Processing payments through various methods (EFTPOS and Cash) and generating sales invoices.          Aiding in the continual oversight of inventory, including conducting stock counts and participating in stock audits.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills          Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.          Strong attention to detail and adeptness at multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items throughout shifts.Being able to commute to workPay Rate: $28 to $30 per hour.Working Hours: 30-45 hours per weekPrerequisites  Drug and Alcohol TestMinistry of Justice or Police Check2x work references checks.-    Please Upload a cover letter and an up-to-date CV or Resume.  We look forward to hearing from you.
