Main dutyTo install steel reinforcing bars to support and reinforce concrete structures.Daily tasks include:LReading and understanding engineering plans and drawingsDetermining the required materialsSetting out the steel bars as per the drawingsLifting and carrying steel bars into placeTying steel reinforcement bars into place with wiresFitting spacer blocks and chairsUsing hand and power tools to cut and bend barsComplying with company policies and proceduresCooperating and following instructions from the leading hand to ensure deadlines are met and to achieve therequired quality of workCarrying out the work with careful attention to detail and ensuring quality standards are metCarrying out the work with a focus on Health and Safety (for you, the team, and the site)Qualifications:Self motivated with a positive attitudeGood level of physical fitnessStrong practical and teamwork skillsComfortable working at heightsGood communication skills, both written and oralAbility to work outdoors in all weather and in cramped conditionsTime management skillsAt least 1 year relevant experience is required for this roleFull-time, permanent role at $30/hour8 hour shift Shift work
