SPRINKLER ESTIMATOR Due to our continual growth, Argus Fire Protection has the opportunity for you to join our Auckland Service division as part of the Sprinkler Remedial Estimators team and work with an immensely experienced team. Argus is a well-known company with over 40 years' experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in pricing all aspects of sprinkler remedial and critical breakdown works. Candidates must demonstrate:All aspects of H&S systems. At least 5 years' experience in sprinkler systems.An understanding of the relevant industry practice, Standards and regulationsUnquestionable communication skills.Good computer literacy. Excellent record keeping and report compilation skills. Other responsibilities within this role will include:Representing the company with Key clients.Ensuring compliance on health and safety.Achieving further sales of the company's products and services.Provision of technical information, advice and assistance.To ensure projects are financially sound through cost effective purchasing, allocation of resources and effective handling of variation, all resulting in maximising of invoicing and profitability.To monitor closely all projects for financial and timely progress. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be cool under pressure and able to negotiate between different stakeholders. Success in this role is achieved by demonstrating accomplishments and having a proactive approach for positive outcomes but most of all to be part of the team.
