Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a Sponsorship and Events Coordinator. This role is a perfect combination of Sponsorship management and hosting Events. As a true group focused role, you will not only be working on initiatives within New Zealand but also be across strategy of the wider nib business.

What you'll do
This role is our go-to person for all events and sponsorship activity within New Zealand with the support of Australia. As part of the Corporate Affairs & Investor Relations Business Unit, this is a true group focused role based within New Zealand.
Key accountabilities within the role include assisting the Sponsorship and Events Manager (AUS) to creatively develop, plan and execute nib’s sponsorship portfolio in New Zealand to deliver against nib’s strategic objectives. Additional to this, you will also be accountable for the planning, management and reporting on all nib events hosting key stakeholders and employees of the New Zealand business. This includes the management of NZ CEO Invites, events and corporate meetings.
The role demands a strategic thinker and multi-tasker, someone who is able to efficiently time manage, plan and creatively execute under pressure. Additional to this we are an enthusiastic team player who is able to build and grow effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and independently bring people together as a means to deliver on key projects.
What we'd love to see from you:
There are always events happening in our Auckland Office. What we would love to see from you is previous experience in
Event management and/or project Management
Stakeholder engagement
Creating campaigns and delivering benefits across our sponsorship portfolio
Organising, tracking and reporting on campaigns, and
Communication (internal/external)
In addition, but not necessary we would love for you to have experience working within sport partners and analysing contracts with suppliers.
