About The Role : We currently have an opportunity for a Specifications & Distributors Channel Manager and be based in our Auckland region. Reporting to the you National Sales Directo r, you will be re sponsible for managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders in the specifications and distributors channel. You will work closely with architects, specifiers, distributors, and contractors to drive product specifications and sales within your assigned territory. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Commercial and Relationship Management of Head Office Accounts, nationally – specifically key distributors and but encompassing other accounts or stakeholders (such as Architects and builders) as applicable. Work collaboratively with the Specification & BIM Team Leader to ensure alignment between the Sales team activities and the Specification writers. In collaboration with the Specification & BIM Team Leader, maintain an intimate understanding of projects that are upcoming, a WIP, and completed; provide insights for the purpose of forecasting and planning on our position and understanding of timing etc with a view to increasing pipelines. Responsible for Sales Representation, and achievement of budget of the Specification &Distributor sales channels within NZ, covering both mechanical and electromechanical products. The execution of business rules and pricing structures across all segments to drive mutually beneficial pricing arrangements across key accounts. Ensure customers are kept up to date with appropriate Price Lists, Catalogues, Samples and Point of Sale material. Work with the Product Manager(s) during new product development and launches, ensuring training, sales material and pricing are appropriate for the Channel. In collaboration with Product Managers, constantly review product performance and identify opportunities for range rationalisation or extension, new product launches, and market research. Provide recommendations supported by research and data to improve product growth and ensure our product offering remains profitable and competitive within the mark About you: Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience. Proven track record of sales channel management experience in the same or closely related field. Experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous. Exceptional financial acumen with detailed P&L understanding Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify opportunities for improvement. Ability to work effectively with other departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, to support the organisation's financial and strategic goals.
