Sold through major re-sellers, this company supports sell through by engaging engineers and architects to correct specification and helping them meet legal and OSH requirements when building safely. This role is the perfect opportunity to implement long-term strategic action resulting in valuable partnerships with customers.This is a true BDM role where you will be fully accountable for long term partnerships increasing specification across the southern region. Reporting to the Country Manager you will be pivotal in driving the South Island business in New Zealand, for New Zealand.About the role:Maintain a regular call cycle, building relationships and securing business from consultants, architects, and fire engineersDevelop and evaluate strategies for obtaining and maintaining specifications – through industry research and identifying trends within the marketYou will advise clients on the formulation of lighting designs and layouts according to a project specificationTake a project and commercial sales lead in the business – working with engineers and specifiers to influence commercial projectsControl and document the projects with particular attention to application documents such as technical submissions, data sheets, lighting layouts, schematic diagrams and support of the relevant Sales team member associated with a project.About you: Experience or exposure to the electrical sector will be highly regardedProven experience with the specification market is required with an existing network of electrical engineers and architectsYou have the ability and desire to become a technical product expertYou have an enthusiastic personality that is team-focused, with the ability to lead and influence othersYou are driven by working towards goals and understanding customer needs Benefits:The role you seek is no doubt one with autonomy, a clear understanding performance parameters and the ability to get the job done with an understanding of the drivers and relationships in the South Island market.Clevertronics are offering a pleasantly competitive remuneration package devised of a strong base salary + bonuses and vehicle allowance.
