We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Nurse who is looking to step up to a clinical leadership and management role in Te Tai Tokerau.
You will provide Specialist Nursing care in Sexual Health, to a defined group of patients to ensure optimum health outcomes are achieved and an excellent standard of care is provided.Enhance health outcomes for clients by working directly with them to provide, assessment, care and educationContribute to development of pathways, protocols and guidelines in the specific area of practice.Practice at a level which requires substantial theoretical knowledge and proficient utilisation of this knowledge in implementing and advising on independent and interdependent nursing interventions.Participate on the roster for the Sexual Assault Forensic Service – providing therapeutic care, assisting with the collection of forensic evidence and ongoing post assault care managementThere will be opportunities for you to grow and develop as a clinician and leader as we value the importance of investing in our team and supporting this growth.
This is a permanent part-time role working 24 hours per week.
Required skills/experience You will be a Registered Nurse with a positive and professional approach, skilled at relating to and building rapport with others and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Practicing CertificatePost grad cert5 years post registration experienceAbility to participate in an afterhours on call roster for clients providing therapeutic care, assisting with the collection of forensic evidence and ongoing post assault care managementAn opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of a dynamic serviceRewarding role to make a difference in the communityBe part of a wider team who are enthusiastic, dedicated and supportiveProfessional development opportunities & training providedRelocation allowance may be availableShortlisting may occur prior to the close date.
