Lakes District Hospitals is seeking a new Senior Medical officer with passion for Palliative Medicine.
The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in further developing specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population. The role requires you to work across a range of acute inpatient services and ambulatory services including clinics, hospice and patients homes.
Therefore it is essential to have capability in delivering specialist services to people and whanau who are experiencing a life limiting condition. Have experience in the acute hospital setting Has a focus on equitable services and health outcomes Actively participate in the education and training of under graduate and post graduate medical and nursing staff The candidate will be excited to participate in developing the service to meet the needs of the population and have experience with working in culturally diverse settings and
