Major Responsibilities: as a senior medical specialist you will be responsible for the perioperative care of patients including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative care and postoperative care you will be expected to perform regional and general anaesthesia.you will be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff training in an anaesthesia and also for the education of medical students attending the departmentyou will be expected to participate in service quality improvement projects and audit. Preferred Requirements: Qualified specialist anaesthetistFANZCA or equivalent qualificationEligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Enthusiasm for providing care for all age groupsInterest in Acute Care and ObstetricsAbility to work afterhoursDedication to improving the health and well-being of all patientsProven track record of delivering outstanding patient care
