About the Role We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as a Unit Coordinator for the Special Care Unitat Rowena Jackson Retirement Village locatedin Waikiwi, Invercargill.The role includes working Tuesday to Saturday 0800 - 1630with a shared on-call component.
As the Special Care Unit Coordinator, you will use your nursing and people skills to: Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always "good enough for mum and dad"Foster the Ryman culture which promotes a safe and enjoyable work experience for your teamEnsure all care is continuously assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of each resident within the Special Care UnitActively engage with resident's families/whanau, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and District Health Boards, creating lasting relationshipsEnsure your team embrace a range of beliefs, ethnicities, gender, sexuality, and principles of Te Tiriti o WaitangiPerform and support your nursing team to conduct interRAI assessmentsIntermittently provide additional time outside rostered hours to attend events, support team members or residents and families as needed Dedicate quality time with your team, including flexibility of rostered hours on different shifts to connect with all team members within the unitCommunicate effectively and efficiently with your team that promotes respect and trustParticipate as a positive and trusting member of a team that works together as oneProvide support to your Clinical Manager and Village Manager

About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
