Our security services play a key role in keeping people and we have an opportunity for an experienced security professional to step into the role of Security Supervisor for Southland. Mo te turanga | About the role Our security team are the people that keep the hospital safe. Our primay role is 'Healthcare' - Looking after our patients. Secondary to that is 'Security' - Keeping everyone safe. As the Supervisor, you'll be responsible for a team of people that look after our patients, our visitors, and our staff. You'll carry out routine patrols, write reports, diffuse tense situations, and mentor the team. You'll be a peacemaker, a confident communicator and display kindness and helpfulness in everything you do. You will need to be non-judgemental, and have a good level of physical fitness.
