South Island New Business Sales Manager

We have a 'can-do' culture, and our people are encouraged to strive to be the best they can be.Our Christchurch branch is focused on growth in 2024 and we have a vacancy in our New Business Sales Team due to a staff movement within the branch.This role is ideal for an experienced Team Leader or senior salesperson to take the next step in their sales career.We will need you to take the reins of this leadership role, to drive sales and market expansion to the next level by leading by example.Resilient, realistic, and determined, with emotional intelligence in spades, you can galvanise people around you, show them the vision and then inspire and lead them towards it.Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will use your new business experience and understanding of the sales process to motivate and lead your new business team to realise their potential and exceed their targets.The successful candidate will be a sales manager, team leader or senior sales person with at least 5 years sales experience and who can demonstrate:A proven track record of motivating and leading successful sales teamsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsA proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.The ability to build a winning team culture.You are charismatic and command attention, you value your team, and you bring a strong set of values to the table.
