South Island Distribution & Warehousing Manager

Job summary
Select is partnering with a client to find a Distribution & Warehousing Manager for their Waikouaiti Distribution Centre on the South Island.This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and distribution, ensuring smooth flow of goods.The manager will lead a team of up to 20 and work closely with Operations Manager and customer-facing staff.
Job seniority: associate level
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including movement of goods, inventory control, and customer order picking.• Ensure key performance indicators are met and improved upon.• Lead and create an inspiring work environment with open communication culture.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.• Warehouse management experience.• Familiarity with Microsoft D365, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll system administration.• Endorsed forklift license and relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
