We require a full time Daytime Sous Chef to work in our busy fast paced restaurant
We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and highly motivated chef who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Olive is a multi-faceted restaurant where you can show your talents, we cook with great seasonal produce giving you the opportunity to develop and expand your knowledge.
This is a great role for someone who wants to step up in their cooking career
This Job will involve
– cooking multiple sections including grill
-Quality control
-Excellent communication, delegation and time management
-Help in developing chefs
-Commitment to see tasks completed to highest standard
-Running pass
-Run the kitchen in the Head chef's absence
-Be involved in menu development
You must have/be able to:
-have experience in running a service
- cook consistent high food quality
-good communication skills
-Cook in high volume situations
-Adapt to different services and situations
-have ordering experience
-Allergen awareness
-be able to train junior chefs
We require a minimum of 4 yrs as a chef in established restaurants with at least 2 years as a chef de partie
You must be looking for a long term role of at least 1 year.
