Sous Chef

We are NZ's longest running Drag Queen dinner theatre experience. We are looking for a vibrant, and kind hearted Looking for a highly motivated and confident sous chef to join our humble kitchen and help provide top quality food to our customers.
This is a part time position of minimum 8 hours per week (Fri and Sat) with the possibility to go up to 20 hours per week over the xmas season.
Our kitchen is not like a standard hospo kitchen as we serve just 5 different a-la-carte options (approx 50 - 65 capacity) and are all served within a 30 minute time-frame.
We require someone with a positive attitude that is passionate about food hygiene and quality presentation. The successful applicant will work closely with our head chef to learn our systems with the intent that they can take over as head chef when our chef is away.
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen would be a great benefit but is not required. As long as you can commit to staying with us for a while we are happy to train you and help you improve.
