We are looking for Solutions Architects to join the Strategy & Assurance Team here at the Ministry for Primary Industries. MPI has a modern and legacy set of enterprise platforms and is an advocate for all of government capabilities and technologies which support the growing needs of our business.
K?rero m? te t?ranga (About the role):This role is responsible for delivering solution architecture(s) to meet specific business needs, collaborating and guiding both business stakeholders and developers, reviewing proposed solution design deliverables. Our Strategy & Assurance team is managing a growing capability in SaaS/Cloud/PaaS/COTS, API, Microservices and Cloud Platforms with need for advice and guidance on solutions. We\'re an advocate for Continuous Improvement and Delivery. Utilising DevOps approaches, we want to achieve automation and are building our Agile and DevOps practices with this in mind.
You\'ll be collaborating, defining, designing, maintaining, and communicating detailed solution patterns, models, standards and guidelines in relation to solutions architecture. You\'ll have an understanding of general software architecture principles and practices. MPI has a Breadth of technologies, so understanding of integration is essential as is a knowledge of cloud computing.
M?u - About You:Our Solution Architects are able to guide and direct discussions, document and present technical solutions, and discuss options with our business stakeholders in terms they understand, having a deep technical knowledge.
To be successful in the role you will need to have good interpersonal, strong oral and written communication skills along with great stakeholder relationship management skills.
