Our client is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join their team in Wellington. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting and guiding the end-to-end solution landscape, including developing greater visibility of the software environment and how it operates and integrates.
What you'll do: As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future architecture direction of our client's organisation. You will have the opportunity to understand all IT Systems within the organisation, build and integrate current information systems, analyse and assess the system architecture currently in place, provide supervision and guidance to development teams, as well as assist in evaluating and analysing new technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in undertaking continuous improvement of architecture practices, patterns and processes.
Guide and contribute to the future architecture direction of the organisation.Undertake continuous improvement of architecture practices, patterns and processes.Understand all IT Systems within the organisation.Build and integrate current information systems to meet the strategic priorities of the organisation.Analyse and assess the system architecture currently in place and recommend solutions to improve it.Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.Assist in evaluating and analysing new technologies. What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Solution Architect role brings a wealth of technology experience, with at least five years spent designing and developing enterprise-wide systems and solutions architecture. You possess proven Solutions Architecture experience covering enterprise solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments. A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline is required, or considerable professional experience. Your excellent skills in building and fostering strong internal and external relationships will be key to your success in this role.
