About the role:
Work on a long-term technology programme to migrate our client to a new Microsoft Active Directory forest/domains, Azure AD/O365 tenants and hybrid Microsoft Exchange platform. Beyond the implementation of the new foundational infrastructure, it will be necessary to re-home 10,000 users and all data center hosted apps into the new forest/domains.
The successful candidate will demonstrate significant full life cycle email migration experience that has been gained in large and complex corporate environments;
Email migrations (mailbox, public folders, application integrations, relays, etc)
Working in multi-domain environments to resolve cross-forest challenges.
Deep knowledge of Exchange 2010, 2016, 2019 and Exchange Online platforms
Veritas Enterprise vault personal archives and compliance journals
Identity and access management (Active Directory Domain Services)
External identity provider (Azure AD)

Required Skills / Experience:
Development of a cross-forest email migration approach.
Development of detailed migration design addressing relays, public folders, shared mailboxes, mail routing changes, mailboxes, compliance journals, personal archives and more.
Augmentation of the recently completed existing high and low-level Exchange 2019/Exchange Online Hybrid design.
Leading the engineering, testing and business change teams through the preparations to become migration ready.
Contributing to the development of a service transition plan as the client onboard a 3rd party service provider that will support the built system.
Working with Architects and Solution Designers to assess solution options
Working with delivery teams to assess delivery options and inform planning
Identification of security and technology

The role is a daily rate contract, with a term starting ASAP through to April 2021, based in central Auckland (assume working from home as needed due to Alert Levels at the time).
