We are Australia and New Zealand’s largest life insurer, with assets of over $31bn and over 1.5 million customers. AMP Life is transitioning its business model to be an in-force specialist life insurer, with a focus on providing existing customers in Australia and New Zealand with insurances such as income protection, disability and life insurances and savings & investment products.
In 2020, it is planned that AMP Life will be sold by AMP to Resolution Life, a global in-force life insurance specialist.
About the role
As a Solution Architect, you will define end-to-end solution architectures that are fit for purpose, making recommendations based on fact-base analysis, and understanding dependencies, constraints, risks and priorities.
Main focus areas:
Ensuring compliance with blueprint, policies and standards.
Analysis of multiple technical alternatives and contributing to recommendations which impact technical solutions.
Supporting project managers with reviewing and revising cost benefit analysis, risk analysis and development plans to take account of design decisions.

Capabilities & Experience
Knowledge and understanding of Life insurance industry, trends and technology
Strong awareness and understanding of software technologies, integration, applications, including cloud, SAAS and PAAS
Previous xperience as a Solution Architect in a complex corporate environment
