At the heart of their practice lies a deep-rooted dedication to serving the local community and extend this ethos to every member of their team.They have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join their team to focus on Family Law and Relationship Property matters.Situated in the vibrant Hawke's Bay region, this role will be based out of their Hastings office.About the role:As a Solicitor specialising in Family Law and Relationship Property matters, you'll delve into a diverse range of cases, catering to both private clients and those under Legal Aid. From navigating the intricacies of the Family Court system to advocating for your client's best interests, every day will present new challenges and opportunities for growth.Your day-to-day will include providing legal advice on a range of Family Law/Relationship Property matters, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents - correspondence, pleadings, and affidavits; attending court hearings, mediations, and settlements. You will work closely with Partners and Senior Solicitors, bouncing ideas off one another and offering mutual support.About you:Ideally, you will be 3+ years PQE and experience with Family Law and/or Relationship Property and see this as your focus. You will be resilient with strong technical skills and the ability to analyse legal issues pragmatically.You will be familiar with the Family Court system representing clients across a broad range of matters.Above all else, you will have exceptional communication skills, and be able to communicate and build relationships not only with clients, but with colleagues and other external stakeholders.Exceptional work-life balance, with a strong emphasis on this from the top downFamily-friendly ethos offering a genuine support structure.
