We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with Test Automation experience to join our team of high performance engineers that work to assure the quality of our Suncorp Group software throughout our software automation tools and the most popular in the market SAFe Agile Scale Framework.
Your key Responsibilities will include: Deliver quality automated/manual test scripts/procedures and cases to meet delivery milestones.Perform the test activities part of the software life cycle (plans, strategy, defects, artefacts, reports)Work with / support the delivery teams / trains to enable optimal quality outcomesSupport the creation, maintenance and reuse of our test assetsCollaborate with you Suncorp test communityBring innovation and industry trends on Software testing space to your workTo be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience with Functional testing within a structured testing environment and understanding of the multiple test types3+ years Test Automation experienceExperience in the effective utilisation of technologies in our stack; Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber and JavaExperience testing SOAP and REST APIs, using tools such as SOAPUI, PostmanExperience with a development IDE such as Intellij and an understanding of existing test automation Java codeExperience with Salesforce, Playwright, Type Script, Applitools would be valuableA team player mindset, willing to support and mentor other testersA desire for continuous learning and a strong work ethicAbout Suncorp NZ We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia and New Zealand's most trusted names in insurance – working together to bring about faster, simpler and better outcomes for our customers and corporate partners.
