We have a number of opportunities across our Data Chapter. Being a member of the Data Chapter spans a wide range ofspecialisations,but the heart of the chapter is to design, build, run,enhance, and maintain software applications. Your day to day is spent maintaining and improvingcodebases, collaborating with your squad on tech design, identifying opportunities for improvement andsupporting your peers by tackling problems together, reviewing code or shadowing.
The key focus of the role is to:
Automate and support infrastructure in Azure and On-prem with infrastructure-as-code solutions Continuously improve processes and solutions to be scalable and highly available Work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and build tools to enable productivity Monitoring, alerting and reporting on environments Software design, development, and testing Mentoring and uplifting Software Engineering practices About you: Critical to your success will be strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, excellent documentation skills and demonstrable experience in working with a variety of business stakeholders. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience, and a mix of technical skills including:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks 3+ years of development experience Best practice standards in code development, quality and technical design. Enterprise networking and Security knowledge Experience with PowerShell or bash scripting Exposure and experience with ELK stack Exposure and experience with Ansible Working for ASB: ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
