Job Description:
Symantec, a leading cybersecurity company, is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience in social media management. We are looking for an independent and resourceful individual who can take initiative and drive our social media presence to the next level.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner- Analyze social media metrics and provide reports to management on a regular basis- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and tools to maximize our online presence- Collaborate with internal teams to promote company initiatives and events on social media- Research and identify opportunities for paid social media advertising campaigns- Manage social media calendars and coordinate content with other marketing initiatives
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field- 1+ years of experience in social media management- Proven track record of growing social media following and engagement- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong research skills and ability to adapt to changing trends- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
