Job Description:We are looking for a passionate and adaptable Social Media Manager to join our team at Barnes & Noble in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As an entry-level position, we are seeking individuals with at least 1 year of experience in social media management. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends and a creative mindset to engage with our audience effectively.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement- Manage all social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring performance- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals- Monitor trends in social media and identify new opportunities for growth- Interact with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner- Analyze data and metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions- Stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging platforms in social media marketing
Requirements:- 1 year of experience in social media management- Passion for social media and staying current with trends- Adaptability to changing strategies and priorities- Strong people management and cooperation skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Knowledge of social media analytics tools- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus
