DDB Aotearoa is looking for Social Media Director to work closely with our Group Head of Social. This role will be the social lead and collaborate with some of New Zealand's most iconic brands. You'll have the opportunity to set the standard for what good social looks like for DDB and the industry. You will help build brands by creating people first social, guide our clients and team on best practice and drive exceptional social performance on all channels. If you're a confident Social Media leader passionate about creating strategies for our clients, then this job is for you. Primary Responsibilities • Lead assigned clients in developing social and content strategies that push current best practices to a new level and create the new benchmark of what great looks like. • Work at the intersection of client and community to develop and implement content that resonates online and offline. • Act as a trusted advisor & advocate social media internally and externally at DDB, pushing for innovation in social creativity collaboratively with creative teams & production. • Manage junior social specialists to create engaging social work for all your clients. • Inspire best practices for our client partners and the agency through your work and the knowledge you bring. • Be knowledgeable about the latest social platform and industry developments and the opportunity they hold strategically and creatively - inspiring the social team. • Bring foresight, organisation, problem solving and confidence for your clients.
