Our Broadspectrum Transport Infrastructure Group an experienced and highly skilled Excavator Operators.
What’s in it for me and The Role
Due to the increase of work, the team Whangarei Roading team has opened a new opportunity for skilled Excavator Operators. You will be reporting to the site supervisor. You will need to have proven work experience in Excavator operation and have worked with a range of different sizes of excavators. Proven work experience in Road or Civil construction is preferred. No formal qualifications are required, but basic handyman/maintenance skills are a definite advantage.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have/be:
WTR endorsement
Worked and excavated with drainlayers – advantageous
Demonstrated effective verbal and written English skills
Physically fit as the job requires digging, heavy lifting, prolonged periods of walking, standing, band bending; frequent repetitive hand, arm and leg/foot movements and pushing/pulling.
Current full NZ Driver’s licence is required with WTR endorsement at a minimum.
The successful candidate shall be motivated and competent to ensure that projects are completed to the clients' satisfaction while meeting or exceeding Broadspectrum profitability expectations. You will need to be hard working, reliable and have good communication skills.
