The Company
CanForm Structures Ltd is an award-winning commercial construction company based in Christchurch. We do our own concrete and carpentry packages. From the company’s inception in 2010, we have built factories, mass food productions spaces, high end retail, office and warehouse developments. We are currently the main contractor on a high-end commercial build in High St.

The Position
Available for an immediate start, the position of Site/Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full range of site activities including the health and safety of carpenters, apprentices along with subcontractors.
Leadership of staff includes upholding and modelling a practice culture based on the company values of quality, excellence and respect.
The project management role includes programming, purchasing and supporting the preparation of progress claims including monitoring and recording of variations.
The position works under the technical leadership of the Owner/Construction Director who currently performs the role and has extensive hands-on practical knowledge and experience to support you in the role.
Skills and Experience Sought
Current site and project manager experience – set-out, site survey and commercial foundation experience preferred.
National Certificate in Carpentry (or recognized equivalent)
Driver’s License Class 1
Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP Carpentry)
Site Safe Certification to gold card level

Formal qualifications in construction and project management will be well regarded.
