Site Project Manager

We are on the lookout for a self-motivated Site-based Project Manager to join our client's successful team. In the role you will be focused on maintaining site-based operations and supporting the team on your projects.The salary is negotiable and dependent on experience but will be in the region of $100,000-$140,000.About the company:You will be working for a large, well established sub-contractor. Our client has been operating for 20 years and have built up an enviable reputation for delivering high quality sub-contracting services. A positive and supportive culture is a priority for our client, and it shows with their low staff-turn over.Your duties will include:· Overseeing projects with total values ranging from $8-80million.· Liaising with main contractors.· Managing project delivery to the programme.· Managing communication and project documentation.· Reading plans and specifications.· Programming works and order materials.· Managing health and safety procedures.· Working 80% on site and 20% in their North Shore office.About you:· A formal construction qualification/license is desirable.· Minimum 4 year's + experience in Project or Site Management with a sub-contractor (e.g. scaffolding, steel, concrete, façades, or roofing).· Experience working in an office or on a construction site.· Competent in running a job without supervision.· Good health, safety, and time management skills.· Excellent communication, financial and quality management, and computer skills.· Be a problem solver and a team player.· Persistent and determined to complete jobs within the timeframe given.Applicants must be based in New Zealand and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
