Our client is seeking an experienced Site Finance Business Partner to join their team in Christchurch. This role is integral to the financial performance of the site, offering strategic insights and driving value. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and operational reporting, maintaining system integrity, and developing strategic investments.
What you'll do: • As a Site Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our client's site in Christchurch. The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Collaborate with business partners including the site SLT and essential members of the site operational team
• Drive the creation and delivery of value to meet MIPs targets at the site
• Supply precise and comprehensive costing information to aid NPD/tender processes
• Offer insights to site leadership to optimize crucial cost factors like labour, waste, R&M, and utilities
• Advocate for flexibility and agility to facilitate prompt responses to emerging issues
• Develop reporting mechanisms to provide deeper insights to site leadership on optimizing key cost factors
• Take ownership of BAU capital processes and associated governance, while also supporting assumptions for strategic investments as needed
• Assist in generating highly accurate month-end results supplemented with value-added insights
What you bring: • At least 5 years financial experience in analytical, management accounts and/or business partnering roles
• Strong manufacturing and production background (Ideally Dairy and/or FMCG)
• Experience in standard costing and reporting standards (IAS 16 etc)
• SAP with sound experience in all modules, especially costing module and financial modules
• Minimum of a University Degree/s in Commerce, Operations Management, or other relevant discipline.
• CA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA desired but not essential
