The Opportunity We are seeking Site Engineers to join our growing Civil team based in Tauranga, servicing the Bay of Plenty to deliver the good work we are known for.
Our Civil team is very proud of the work that we deliver. We have worked on a range of projects, such as building new water and wastewater treatment plants, new bridges and roads, and large concrete structures. We enjoy the technical challenge our projects offer, and providing innovative engineering solutions that allow us to deliver timely projects that are commercially sound and provide the right outcome for not only our clients but the communities we work with.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering our projects and your main responsibilities will include:
Site set up, planning, quality control, and pulling together resource to complete the project,Interpreting contract documentation into a work instruction to communicate to crews to allow them to build it,Focusing on quality and compliance of projects and making sure they are built to spec,Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, guidelines and industry information that is relevant to the construction industry,Undertaking technical 'hands-on' activities when needed,Plus, much more!What you'll bring to the table You will be passionate about heavy civil/structures projects. If concrete is your thing, we can offer you a range of exciting projects that you can develop your expertise on. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or other relevant tertiary educationAt least 2 years of experience working on heavy civil projects (bridges, water and wastewater plants, concrete structures or similar)Strong organisational and communication skillsThe ability to plan your work and execute it autonomously.Fulton Hogan Philosophy Here at Fulton Hogan, we don't just talk about our REAL Values, we live them too.
