Simulation Engineer required by a multinational company dedicated to delivering projects right first time in the most professional and efficient way possible for their clients.
Based on Auckland’s North Shore our client is a leading supplier of integrated automated technology, software and maintenance services to optimize the supply chain. They design, build and support material handling/logistics solutions that optimize material and information flow within factories, warehouses, airports and distribution centres globally.
Ideally you will be knowledgeable in simulation software with skills/experience in the following:
• AutoMod, FlexSim or Demo3D
• Java, C, VBA or MATLAB
• Pre-sales support activities
• Assisting in the development of customer presentations
• Simulation model development on medium to large-sized projects
• Conducting studies on the performance of complex projects
• Performing data collection and preparation of model specifications
• Developing, programming, and optimizing project specific control algorithms to maximize system performance and meet client requirements
• Designing and developing precise and effective computer-based models
Along with the above skills and experience you will possess excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. You will have completed either a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mathematics. Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques, simulation, and flow analysis with proven experience in mathematics and statistics is a requirement of this role.
