SHIVERS Study Coordinator at Institute of Environmental Science & Research Limited, Wellington Te tunga | The role We have a 2 year fixed term, full-time opportunity for a Study Coordinator to contribute to the smooth running of the SHIVERS surveillance/research programme, which is made up of multiple studies known as 'WellKiwis'.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, Principal Investigator, and other study team and clinical team members, this is a participant-facing position and involves engagement with study participants. You will provide a positive participant experience and inspire participants to remain interested and actively contributing to study activities.
In this role, you will be involved in:
Leading and engaging with participants in a respectful and professional manner via phone/email/face-to-face.Ensuring high rates of participant recruitment, engagement, and retention for the project in accordance with the approved protocols.Ensuring participant information on study activities (visits, sample collections and responses and test results) is collected, cleaned, and managed properly in REDCap, meeting quality standards.Planning and tracking communication activities, (including writing and formatting communication material across website, social media, and print).Ensuring high quality data entry and maintenance of records in the study databases.This position is based at ESR's Wallaceville Science Centre in Upper Hutt, Wellington. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the scientific life of ESR by promoting a culture of open, ethical, relevant, and publicly responsive scientific inquiry.

A high level of attention to detail, coupled with strong organisational skills.Excellent time management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.High level of relevant computer skills desirable (Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, MailChimp or other mailing databases)Excellent communication skills, with the demonstrable ability to communicate positively and effectively with a wide range of people, including a high quality of presentation of ideas, thoughts, and arguments.A willingness to work as a member of a team, supportive of other team members and focused on achieving team objectives.Nga painga | The benefits
