We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in Auckland.
The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist provides support to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team by assisting with all receipt, dispatch and related support activities. Successful applicants will have experience in material management, warehousing, booking freight, use of plant and manual handling equipment.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Processing Inventory Management System SAP transactions to support the Procurement and Production activities as required.
Maintain and control inventory accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Boeing policy and procedures.
Receipt, storage, handling, packaging & shipping and issuing of inventory at the warehouse facility.
Assist project personnel with hardware setup for integration/test activities and system demonstrations.
Relocate items between office and warehouse as required. Organise and manage contractors to relocate large items.
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, supply support roles and functions.
Previous experience in the receipt and dispatch of goods and services.
Demonstrated experience using SAP
Demonstrated experience with computerised inventory management systems and methodologies.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Physical requirements: Warehouse environment; some lifting up to 30lbs.
Forklift (Reach truck, Cherry picker) or position related certification.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
DG Road and DG IATA certification required
Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks
A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
