About the Role
As a Shipping Coordinator reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, tracking, and updating of inbound orders from international suppliers. Your primary objective will be to keep our business systems updated at all times, collaborate with suppliers to manage container arrivals, and communicate priority shipments to ensure on-time delivery. With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, you'll play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations and maintaining high standards of performance.
Key Skills and Responsibilities

Update business systems with shipping ETAs and track inbound orders.Collaborate with suppliers to manage container arrivals and prioritise shipments.Report supply chain performance to senior management.Receipt and cost orders accurately on business systems.Support Purchase Order processing and maintain shipping spreadsheet.Track inbound orders with 3rd party logistics providers.Ensure timely receipt of overseas freight contracts and shipping documentation.Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient container handling and storage.Communicate delays or issues to Customer Service and follow up with suppliers.Maintain daily and monthly reports accurately and on time.Respond to purchasing inquiries and perform administrative tasks related to the role.Assist Customer Service team with projects and tasks as required.You will have Relevant business degree or relevant NZ QualificationPrevious experience in a customer service-based environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software (ERP, CRM)What we offer Competitive salaryA day off on your birthdayOngoing training and development opportunitiesJoining a market leader that values staff development, customer satisfaction, and celebrating winsIf you're ready to make a significant impact, join our team today!
