Shift Supervisor - Salmon Farm, Stewart Island Our Big Glory Bay Salmon Farm is located in Rakiura/Stewart Island, one of New Zealand's national parks with the natural beauty of the sea, bush and wildlife - one of the world's most remote aquaculture farms. On a good day this is one of the most beautiful places you can be - however, the work involves being open to the elements and all that nature may throw. The work is also physical so a good level of fitness and strength is required. We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Shift Supervisor to join our Salmon Farm operations in Big Glory Bay - Rakiura/Stewart Island. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and motivating a small team that support the day-to-day running of the salmon farming operations. You will help organise daily operations requirements in conjunction with your manager, and clearly communicate this with your team. The roster is seven days on / seven days off allowing for maximum work/life balance. During shifts you will stay onsite on our barge. You'll be confident with identifying areas for improvement and have a desire to progress your career in the aquaculture industry where opportunities are limitless.
