Are you an experienced Team Leader looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?
Reporting directly to the Service Centre Manager, you will provide plant and production management, resourcing, planning and direction to deliver excellence in safety, customer service, quality and cost performance.
Based in Christchurch, this role will have a great appeal to experienced production team leaders with an understanding of high volume, FMCG production and automated manufacturing environments.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Leading a team across different role types to work together to achieve common production targets.
Responsible and accountable for occupational health and safety of employees, contractors and site visitors
Ensuring that procedures and safe work practices are complied with at all times. (i.e. Lock out/Tag out, Chemical handling)
Coordination of labour and production demands to ensure that they are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct accurate and timely pallet/crate transactions to ensure stock and system integrity are maintained at all times, maintaining security of assets and provide accuracy of information through SAP.
Assist in managing plant maintenance and breakdowns and liaise with maintenance staffs to achieve maximum efficiency and use of plant.
Implement current best practice initiatives and drive continuous improvement process in the plant.
