Your primary focus will be the care of dogs in the shelter. You may however be required to assist in Officer fieldwork and other tasks from time to time. You will enforce legislation, educate the community, and contribute to the overall welfare of animals in our care.The ideal candidate will posess:Passion for Animals: Genuine care and compassion for animals.Experience: Previous experience in animal care, shelter work, or a related field is preferred.Physical Fitness: Ability to handle and lift animals of varying sizes.Communication: Excellent communication skills for engaging with the public and colleagues.Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations and make sound decisions.Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.Far North District Council is a progressive and growing Council filled with like-minded people who love what they do and are committed to providing superior services to residents in their community.
