Sheep And Beef Farm Manger

A full time managers Position is available on a 1300ha hill country, sheep and beef breeding and finishing farm in Te Uku, approximately 35 km to Hamilton and 10km to Raglan, with a short 5 min drive to local store, high school bus route and local primary school.
We are looking for a hardworking, honest, self-motivated person to take on the Managers position who will be in charge of the day to day running of the farm and staff.
The role will also involve communicating and working closely with the farm business owners on stock policy and development of the property.
Competitive remuneration package offered with on farm 3 bedroom house.
Applicants need:
Proven farm management experience in the sheep and beef sector.
Good understanding and knowledge of sheep and beef breeding and finishing systems, pasture management & animal health.
Excellent communication, organisation and record keeping skills.
Strong awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
Quality stockmanship and a good team of dogs.
Good level of personal fitness and a positive attitude.
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
