Based in Auckland, NZ and reporting to the National Operations Manager, we have a great opportunity for a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) Technician, or career motivated electrical qualified tradesman looking to make the jump to join our team. You will be required to work at times on call with some out of hours work and frequent local and occasional international travel will be necessary. The market we work in is changing rapidly and as it does, so do we, this role will include training and specialisation on some of our exciting new digital/monitoring products. Specific Responsibilities: Attend service callouts, which will include preventative and corrective maintenance/repairs to UPS units Inspecting project installations prior to commissioning and commissioning of installed assets Providing exceptional customer service, building, and strengthening customer relationships Providing technical information and assistance on the range of Schneider Electric's portfolio Recording accurate information relating to site visits, unit replacement, defective parts, and repairs Complying with safety policies, practices, and procedures always What YOU will need.... and we can teach the rest! Ideally, proven experience in a similar position, and working for an OEM; however, those Industrial Electricians who have a real thirst and aptitude for learning, are welcome to apply Electrical Trade Qualification and Licence (must be recognised in New Zealand) A Customer-First mind-set Experience/Knowledge of Schneider Electric products is great, but not essential YOU Want to Know More...?
