South Auckland Service ManagerResidential operations- intellectual disabilitySouth AucklandOpportunity for an experienced Service Manager in the Not for Profit sector in Intellectual Disability .

This role will work across various homes with overall responsibility for the effective delivery of a quality service through the management of day to day running of allocated services (whether residential or vocational). This includes the professional leadership, guidance and management of staff teams and being responsible for effective management of resources.

Key responsibilities:Provide leadership and guidance to staffCreate and communicate the business plan for service deliveryDeliver quality service outcomesProvide knowledge and advise to staffSetting clear expectations for staffCoordinating the professional day to day running of servicesYour experience:A proven ability to lead, coach and support a teamSimilar industry experience- eg health, aged care, disability, hospiceExcellent communication in both written and spoken EnglishStrong interpersonal skills and resilienceRelationship managementMangement of positive changeCommitment to safe work practicesBasic financial management ability
You will need a clean NZ drivers licence, and a minimum or 3-5 years in a similar role and /or a relevant qualification.
