Our mahi focuses on supporting communities, whanau and providers to achieve sustainable health gains, and equitable health outcomes.Underpinning our mahi and everything we do are our values Whakamana (Empower), Aroha (Compassion), Kotahitanga (Collaboration) and Auaha (Innovation).This is a newly established role responsible for providing strong leadership across a range of Health Programmes including:All services under the current PHO services agreementExtended Primary and Community Care (EPCC)In this role you will work in partnership & collaboration with Health Hawke's Bay (HHB) kaimahi and external stakeholders to enable the provision of best practice, high quality programmes to meet the needs of the population, prioritising Maori, Pacific and other priority population groups.Key responsibilities include:Providing expertise, leadership, and direction across programmesLeading the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of all health programmes and pathways, in the Health Programmes team remitBuilding collaborative and positive relationships across the provider network and wider health sectorDirect line management of clinical and non-clinical rolesManaging contractual, legislative and compliance obligationsReporting and financial management of health programmesYou will be a clinician with a degree level health qualification and proven health related leadership experience. It is essential that you have a minimum of 4 years clinical experience, ideally in a primary and community health care setting.In addition, you will have:Proven experience in the development, implementation and provision of health programmes and innovation in health care.A sound knowledge of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be an advocate of our Ka Hikitia strategyKnowledge of risk management relating to the Health Sector servicesA strong drive to achieve results and be a proactive self-starterHealth Hawkes Bay welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.We strive to have diverse workforce.
