About You: We are looking for a self motivated person who is flexible and whose skill set straddles several engineering disciplines. Willing to learn new skills as required and diversify. Works and communicates well in a team environment as well as with outside contractors and third parties. Competent in basic computer skills
Your key responsibilities will be to: Perform general and more specialised maintenance and servicing of production equipment and tooling.Manufacture and rebuild machinery and tooling parts or manage the outsourcing of this work.Condition monitoring of equipment and tooling (including lubrication etc).Complete projects on time and within budget requirements.Provide die servicing and preparation service to the production team.Monitor use of services to ensure efficient use by production areas.Receive training and be able to perform first aid duties as required.Make suggestions to the Health and Safety. committee for the improvement of safety.Identify and where possible rectify safety issues.Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Experience within the plastics industry, injection or blow molding desirable.Some experience with hydraulics and electrical trade will be advantageous.A keen eye for detail, willingness to learn.Ability to ensure a safe work environment is maintained.QualificationsExperience in an engineering-based trade, or relevant trade or advance trade certificate of Level 4 qualificationRelevant Engineering based training or tool making, machining, fabrication, pneumatics, weldng, safter slinging and lfting experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
