We are looking for a Senior Workforce Planner to provide effective and efficient Workforce Planning support services at a senior level to the business and who can lead and coach our Workforce Planners in developing capability, and support a high performing team, whilst maintaining the Team culture.
The Senior Workforce Planner reports to the Workforce Planning Manager and operates as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues while supporting the Workforce Planners in everyday functions.
What will I be doing? Ensure all areas of the business have sufficient support and all operational requirements and fluctuations in staffing needs are addressedUtilize rostering software to create efficient and effective employee schedules, considering workload, skillsets, and compliance requirementsLead a team of workforce planning professionals, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environmentUse data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities and make functional decisions while providing information to the business on potential issues with labour levels, costs and compliance and quickly resolving any areas of non-compliance What do I need to be the right person for this role? A strong knowledge of NZ employment legislationMinimum 4 years' experience in Workforce Planning/rosteringProven leadership experience and skillsAdvanced knowledge of Workforce Planning principles and processesAdvanced knowledge of Workforce Planning softwareAbility to work a roster within the hours of 0700-2230, 7 days per week (covered by 3 x Snr Workforce Planners) What's great about working at SkyCity?
