A highly engaged and respected team of highly experienced professional who love working together. MUST HAVE: Strong New Zealand ecology knowledge. Experience in ecological effects assessments, management and restoration of natural areas. Ability to think strategically, and work proactively towards Wildlands Strategic vision. Passion and commitment to excellent leadership with proven people management skills. Great communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build productive working relationships and work collaboratively. Experience in working with ambiguity and dealing with complex problems. An understanding of the importance of other knowledge bases and information sources (including matauranga Maori). A postgraduate qualification in ecology. In particular, good knowledge and experience of New Zealand botany and plant ecology, restoration biology and ecological management or expertise in another field of ecology.
