What your role and typical day might look like The Experience Consulting team at Merkle Aotearoa fuse art and science to understand, design, build, and continuously shape experiences so that customers perceive them as personal and meaningful. We have a diverse and immensely talented team that leads Merkle's strategic, consulting, research, service design, and UX / UI design capabilities. We are looking for a new talented and passionate person to join our team. As our Senior UX / UI Designer, you'll help our clients to create a seamless experience for users and customers alike. No two days will be the same, but you tasked to research and discover opportunities to reimagine user experiences, design and mock up end to end solutions, and collaborate with our wider consulting teams to make it a reality. Underpinned by products such as Salesforce as a driving force of your design, you'll be helping customers to maximise its potential by integrating various products and tools to an already complex technology ecosystem to inspire real change with clients and customers. Responsibilities could include Creating and communicating natural interactions, workflows, and navigation to ensure a cohesive user experience. Interpreting requirements from the client or developers to build appropriate and effective interactions. Producing wireframes, prototypes and UI designs, using industry standard design software like Figma. Running research with users in an appropriate format (e.g. usability testing), analysing and synthesising results, and presenting meaningful and actionable findings. Creating content to support interactions that meets best practice guidelines and is usable and meaningful to users. Creating and running workshop sessions that are appropriate to different stakeholder groups and relevant to different parts of the design process. Managing projects within time and budget constraints, calculating and communicating the costs and returns of delivering different research methods and effective designs. A bit about you Relevant work experience as a UX designer working predominantly on digital projects Experience in a professional services, consultancy or agency environment delivering digital solutions In-depth experience with industry standard UX / UI tooling and technologies such as; Figma, Axure. Adobe CS, Miro and Jira.
