What does the job look like? We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Transport Administrator to manage the day-to-day operation of the Transport Management System – Truck Mate. Ensuring all freight is planned, dispatched and completed. To support the Transport Dispatch Team where necessary and cover tasks as required
Key areas:
Managing the transition between shifts, ensuring that there is continuity of Administration functions.Maintaining existing process documentation in PromappMonitoring Transport Management System ensuring all trips are correctly planned, dispatched and completed for the relevant shift.Providing support for Dispatch staff and other tasks required by Despatcher.Ensuring all Trips are assigned to the relevant sub-contractor and update the delivery terminals.Undertake end of shift reports, which include freight overage, damages and returns.Ensure that all Dangerous Goods consignments are dispatched with the legal required supporting documentation.Are you the one?
