Senior Systems Administrator

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a ServiceNow developer with hands on experience in ITSM ServiceNow and has ServiceNow ITSM configuration experience.
You will be joining a fantastic Auckland CBD based organisation for a three month contract with an immediate start.
DUTIES
Administration of ServiceNow hosted SaaS environments
Monitor system health and managing platform upgrades, development, QA, and production environments
Understanding and awareness of system dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
Organise and Manage development efforts, including design, testing, migrations, etc.; interfacing with vendors, users, and management as necessary
Tool capability/functionality extension using JavaScript and other techniques as needed to tailor ServiceNow to meet the clients requirements
Assist in gathering and/or reviewing process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification and ServiceNow platform configuration experience is a must for this role.
Experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow core modules
Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL)
Understanding and/or certification of ITIL
Strong customer service skills and demonstrated interest in continuous improvement
Experience in the implementation of diverse business applications in a highly complex business environment
Support stakeholder management
Proven experience with software development and system administration
Working knowledge in agile methodologies, digital/online, mobile, apps and middleware technologies is preferred
Experience in providing technical, functional consultancy services, business analysis and stakeholder management
Experience in technical architectural, application design, business analysis, integration and digital is an advantage
